BROOKLYN — A man responsible for a deadly August shooting in a Gravesend park was arrested on Friday, police said.
Police on Friday said Raheem Dunaway, 34, of Gravesend, was arrested in connection to the August shooting death of 30-year-old Daquan Spencer inside Scarangella Park, at Stillwell Avenue and Avenue V.
Spencer, who according to the New York Post was at the park attending a memorial for victims of gun violence, was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the head and upper body about 1:30 a.m. Aug. 21, the NYPD said.
He was rushed to Coney Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
Dunaway was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
