PROSPECT-LEFFERTS GARDENS — A 10-year-old boy was punched and robbed by a group of six suspects as he walked on Rogers Avenue after school last week, police said.

The boy was walking along Rogers Avenue near Parkside Avenue at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 4 when the group approached him, punched him in the face and forcibly removed his Samsung Galaxy phone, worth approximately $100, his mother reported to police.

The assault took place during after-school hours across the street from P.S. 92 and down the block from the Parkside Preparatory Academy building shared by P.S. 141 and a charter school. It’s unclear which school the victim attended.

It was also unclear how old the suspects are.

The 10-year-old was not seriously injured in the robbery. No arrests have been made as of Friday.

The above incident is part of DNAinfo’s weekly crime blotter made from reports to the 71st Precinct in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens, Crown Heights and East Flatbush.
