CORONA —  Brainstorm your ideas to create a more inclusive cultural plan at a workshop Monday at the Hall of Science.

CreateNYC, a collaboration between the city's Department of Cultural Affairs and the Hester Street Collaborative, is hosting workshops throughout the five boroughs to discuss the future of the arts in New York City. The goal is to make arts and cultural more equitable, organizers said.

The workshop at the Hall of Science will be held Monday, Nov. 14 from 6 until 8 p.m. and offer a chance for residents to share their ideas, as well as for artists to learn about upcoming events.

There will be food and child care provided, as well as Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese and American Sign Language interpretation.

CreateNYC organizers noted that culture is not just art museums and plays — but dance, origami, block parties and movie festivals, too.

"Culture is who we are and what makes our city great," they wrote.
