UPPER WEST SIDE — New Yorkers reeling from Donald Trump's surprise victory in Tuesday's general election — which left some voters in tears while others exulted outside Trump's campaign headquarters — are now mobilizing.
Here's a list of rallies, protests and peaceful vigils happening across the city in response to the election results:
SUNDAY
► I Support Love; I Reject Hate
Where: Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn
When: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Organizers are encouraging the public to "Come with your sons and daughters to express solidarity with each other and to reject racism, hatred, misogyny, and all the other dark forces that were mobilized to get Donald Trump elected," according to the event's Facebook page.
Where: Trump International Hotel, 1 Central Park West
When: 2 p.m.
Make the Road New York and others will march to "oppose Trump's anti-immigrant, sexist, racist agenda." The march starts at Trump International Hotel.
