QUEENS — An NYPD traffic agent was arrested in his Murray Hill, Queens, home after choking his wife Sunday, police said.
Almas Hossain, 31, attacked his wife, 34, in their Barclay Avenue home, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
Hossain was arrested there about 5 p.m. on charges of strangulation, criminal obstruction of breathing and assault, police said.
He was still awaiting arraignment as of Monday morning, court records show.
Hossain's wife refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
