WOODSIDE — An armed thief stole $660 and several packs of gum from five Queens businesses during a two-hour robbery spree on Halloween morning, according to police.

The man first entered a laundromat on 55th Street and Roosevelt Avenue in Woodside just before 5 a.m. Monday, pulled a gun on a 68-year-old male employee and demanded cash, making off with $50, police said.

Just a minute later, the suspect robbed a deli three blocks away on 52nd Street, where he took $60 from a worker, according to the NYPD.

About half an hour later, the man entered Robin Grocery and News on 39th Avenue and 64th Street where he robbed another staffer at gunpoint, stealing $500, police said.

Shortly after 6 a.m., he held up a bodega at the corner of Roosevelt Avenue and 80th Street in Jackson Heights, but the employee there refused to hand over any cash — so the man swiped several packs of gum instead.

The spree ended just after 6:30 a.m. when the suspect robbed a news shop, 84 News on Roosevelt Avenue and Forley Street, and took off with $50, police said.

The man was wearing a green hooded jacket, jeans and glasses, according to photos released by the NYPD.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
