FORT WADSWORTH — The Verrazano-Narrows Bridge will be closed to traffic Sunday for the New York City Marathon, the MTA said.

Both levels of the bridge will close from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday and the Bay Street and Lily Pond Avenue exits of the Staten Island Expressway will also shut down from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m., the MTA said.

The agency will also close the upper level of the bridge in both directions at 11 p.m. on Saturday to prepare the roadway for the marathon, the MTA said.
