Golf Clubs Worth $3K Stolen From Parked Car in Boerum Hill, Police Say

BOERUM HILL — More than $3,700 worth of golf clubs were stolen from a car parked in Boerum Hill last month, according to the police report.

The victim, a 30-year-old man, had left his car parked on Wyckoff Street between Smith and Hoyt streets Oct. 22, the police report said.

When he returned to the vehicle Oct. 26, the car door had been left slightly ajar and his golf clubs were missing.

The brands of the stolen clubs, valued in total at $3,794, include TaylorMade, Cobra and Mizuno, police said.

There was no damaged reported to the vehicle.

Other notable crimes in the 84th Precinct, according to police, include:

► A green Kate Spade purse was swiped from a 21-year-old woman at a Brooklyn Heights restaurant Oct. 30 at about 7:15 p.m. Other stolen property includes a Kate Spade wallet, an Abercrombie wallet, miscellaneous credit cards, a state-issued license and a student ID.
