QUEENS — Police released a video of a man suspected in the mugging of an 85-year-old woman near her Forest Hills apartment building in October.

Barbara Kupferberg was walking home from the Forest Hills Jewish Center on Oct. 23 around 7 p.m. when the suspect walked up behind her on 72nd Road, near 112th Street, grabbed her bag and ran away, police said.

Kupferberg fell, injured her left ankle and got several bruises on her side, but refused medical attention at the scene, police said.

The purse the suspect stole contained a cellphone, library card and wallet with a credit card and about $100 in cash, authorities said.

The suspect was last seen wearing a light-colored hat, black jeans and a light-colored bubbled coat, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
