NEW YORK CITY — New emails connected to the FBI's investigation of Hillary Clinton's private server use during her tenure as secretary of state were found after the FBI seized electronic devices belonging to Huma Abedin and Anthony Weiner, The New York Times reported Friday.

Weiner, a former New York congressman, who is now separated from his wife Abedin — a top Clinton aide — has been embroiled in numerous sexting scandals with the New York Post reporting his smartphone was seized after reportedly inappropriate exchanges with a 15-year-old girl.

The FBI had closed the investigation into Clinton's emails, but a letter to Congress from FBI director James B. Comey said the new emails “appear to be pertinent to the investigation,” and the FBI will “determine whether they contain classified information,” the Times reported.

Of the reopened investigation, Donald Trump said at New Hampshire rally on Friday, “Hillary Clinton’s corruption is on a scale we have never seen before. We must not let her take her criminal scheme into the Oval Office,” according to the Times.
