It's nearly here.

Signs for the W train have started popping up at N/R/Q subway stations after the MTA announced last month that the line will return Nov. 7.

In total, 730 W train signs will go up throughout the subway system, according to MTA Spokesman Kevin Ortiz. The route, which was scrapped in 2010 due to MTA budgets cuts, will run from Astoria-Ditmars in Queens to Whitehall Street-South Ferry in Lower Manhattan.

The MTA has also been posting notices in subway stations about the change, as one Reddit user noticed.

The W train is coming... Posted in the 34th Street A/C/E station outside fare control from nyc

But the sudden appearance of the W alongside the N, Q and R train signs still confused some straphangers.

The W train will run until 57th Street-7 Avenue until the Second Avenue subway is completed and will eventually replace Q service to Queens.

When the Second Avenue subway opens, the Q train will run from 96th Street in Manhattan to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue in Brooklyn. It will also run late night between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
