MIDTOWN — A man groped a woman as she protested outside of Trump Tower ahead of the third presidential debate, the NYPD said.
The victim, a 27-year-old from Staten Island, was protesting in front of Donald Trump’s building at 725 Fifth Ave., between East 57th and 56th streets, around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday when a man she didn’t know grabbed her breast, police said.
No one had been arrested in connection with the incident as of Monday, the NYPD said.
The protest drew more than 100 anti-Trump protesters to the site in the hours before the debate, Gothamist reported.
Police didn’t say whether the victim was part of that particular group.
