CROWN HEIGHTS — Police are searching for a man they say punched a train conductor in Brooklyn earlier this month.
The 46-year-old MTA worker was on duty at the Franklin Avenue station at Eastern Parkway on Oct. 4 when the suspect approached the conductor on the northbound 3 train platform and hit him with a closed fist, police said.
The suspect, a man in his 40s, fled the station on foot. The conductor was treated at Downstate Hospital after the assault, police said.
The NYPD released a photo taken of the assailant while he went through a turnstile. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a red jacket and tan pants.
