CLAREMONT — A 13-year-old girl was dragged by another teen into a rocky area of a South Bronx Park and sexually assaulted on Monday night, police said.

The attack happened around 10 p.m., when an unknown boy, who sources said was about 16, came up to his teenage victim as she was walking through the park to go to a friend's house, according to the NYPD.

The suspect then dragged her to a rocky section of the park and sexually assaulted her before fleeing, police said.

The victim went to a nearby hospital where she was treated and released. No arrest has yet been made, and an investigation is ongoing, police said.
