BUSHWICK — A robber knocked a 66-year-old man to the ground on a Manhattan-bound M train, punched and kicked him then grabbed his belongings and ran off, police said.
The attack happened at 11 p.m. on Oct. 9 at the Myrtle/Wyckoff subway stop, police said.
The suspect, last seen wearing a sweatshirt, jeans and gray sneakers, pummeled the victim, leaving him on the floor with a gash to his face and a broken rib, according to police.
The robber ran off with the victim's wallet containing $20 cash and a credit card, NYPD officials said.
Emergency workers took the injured man to a nearby hospital in serious but stable condition, police said.
