THE BRONX — A man followed a 9-year-old girl into an elevator, kissed her and groped her on Monday morning, police said.
The suspect followed the girl into an elevator of an apartment building near Olinville Avenue and East 213th Street about 10:30 a.m. and tried to pull her toward him, NYPD officials said.
When she resisted, he kissed her on the cheek, blocked her from getting off the elevator and groped her, authorities said.
He then fled down the hallway and out of the building. He hadn't been arrested as of Tuesday morning, according to police, who released a sketch of the man on Wednesday.
He's between 18 and 25 years old, stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs between 175 and 200 pounds, police said.
