HARLEM — A man was robbed while pumping gas at an East Harlem gas station, police said.

The 64-year-old victim was fueling up at the BP station at 2326 First Ave. on Sept. 22 at around 2 a.m. when the suspect approached him, the NYPD said.

As the victim opened his car door after placing the gas pump back in its holder, the suspect reached into the victim’s left pocket and took out $200 in cash, police said.

The suspect, who was described as man standing 5-foot-9, then fled on foot, police said.
