JACKSON HEIGHTS — Police are searching for the driver of a red SUV that collided with a motorcycle as it made a U-turn on 37th Avenue last month.

The SUV was near 85th Street at around 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 19, police said, when the motorcycle drove into it as the car tried to make a turn, police said.

The 21-year-old driver of the motorcycle was thrown from the bike, and the driver of the SUV fled, according to the NYPD.

The victim fractured his right hand and was treated at Elmhurst Hospital in serious but stable condition, police said.

The car is a red Cadillac SRS SUV, and the driver is roughly 20 to 30 years old with black hair.
