Models Fainted, Tripped at Kanye West's Fashion Show on Roosevelt Island

Sweet Yeezus, Kanye West's fashion show on Wednesday at Roosevelt Island sounds like a hot mess.

The inventive recording artist, and now fashion designer, unveiled his new collection "Season 4" to kick off New York Fashion Week at the FDR Four Freedoms Park on Roosevelt Island on Wednesday afternoon, and it got quite a lot of criticism on social media about how late it started and the way its models were treated.

Girls wearing different undergarments stood in formation on the lawn under the hot sun, and audience members saw at least one model faint from the heat and others kneeling down taking breaks.

The fashion itself gave some models trouble. Video taken by viewers captured models in shades of white, brown, army green and black stumbling in high heels on their way down the catwalk.

The show started two hours late, at 5 p.m., after West got into a minor fender-bender on his way to the event, making matters worse, according to the New York Post.

Of course, Kim, Kylie and Kendall Kardashian were there to support West, but the show still seems to have left a bad taste in a lot of mouths.
