Uber's food delivery service is cruising farther into Brooklyn, the ride-hailing company announced in an email to customers Wednesday morning.
New Yorkers living or working in South Williamsburg, DUMBO, Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, Fort Greene, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill and Clinton Hill, as well as parts of Bushwick, Bed-Stuy, Gowanus, Prospect Heights, Carroll Gardens and Park Slope, can now order meals for delivery from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m., seven days a week.
UberEats has added 90 restaurants throughout north and northwestern Brooklyn to its roster, including Hill Country Barbecue in Brooklyn Heights and Glady's in Prospect Heights.
While the market for meal delivery to Manhattan office workers is approaching saturation, options for other boroughs are more limited.
Launched as a standalone app in March, UberEats was previously available in Manhattan below 135th Street and in Greenpoint and Williamsburg.
Orders, which can be placed on the app or website, come with a flat $2.99 delivery fee.
