VIDEO: Man Punches 15-Year-Old in the Face, Steals Cellphone, NYPD Says

CLAREMONT — A man punched a teenager in the face and stole his cellphone in the South Bronx, police said.

The robbery occurred inside of a building by Elliot Place and Walton Avenue around 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 24, when the suspect followed his 15-year-old victim inside and started talking to him, according to the NYPD.

The suspect then punched his victim in the face, stole his cellphone and fled, police said.

Video shows the suspect walking up a staircase dressed in a gray tank top and red and black shorts.
