BROOKLYN — A 20-year-old man was arrested Monday in connection to a Brownsville shooting that left two men dead, police said.

Tariq Hargrove, of Brownsville, faces murder charges along with criminal possession of a weapon for the July 15 deaths of 40-year-old Perry Chance and 37-year-old Jeffrey James, according to officials.

The men were shot during a fight near the intersection of Pitkin Avenue and Osborn Street, police said.

Chance and James were transported to Brookdale Hospital where they were pronounced dead.

No details were available on the dispute or relationship between the suspected gunman and victims.

Hargrove was taken into custody after witnesses identified him as the shooter in a lineup, sources said.
