WILLIAMSBURG — A stranger chipped a woman's front tooth with a salt shaker and called her a "privilege [sic] b---h," outside a Metropolitan Avenue bar last week, police said.

The 23-year-old victim was hanging out with friends outside of Alligator Lounge at 600 Metropolitan Ave., a late night bar known for its free pizza, when a 6-foot-tall man began pacing back and forth near them just after midnight on July 29, police said.

The man then suddenly yelled, "You privilege[d] b---h," and threw a salt shaker at her face, chipping her front tooth, according to authorities.

The suspect fled into a Bagelsmith on the corner of Lorimer Street and Metropolitan Avenue. He was not arrested that night.

Managers at the Alligator Lounge couldn't be reached immediately for comment.

A manager at Bagelsmith who declined to give his name said he wasn’t on duty at the time of the incident but that they are cooperating with police investigation.

No arrests had been made as of Tuesday, police confirmed.
