VIDEO: Watch the NYC Skyline Bend in the New 'Doctor Strange' Trailer

Paris won't be the only metropolis bending moviegoers' minds when the new "Doctor Strange" film comes out this fall.

A second trailer for the movie starring Benedict Cumberbatch as its eponymous surgeon-turned-sorcerer features visual effects that — like those in Christopher Nolan's 2010 sci-fi heist thriller "Inception" — alters perceptions of reality and the New York City skyline. The trailer was released Saturday at the San Diego Comic Con.

Exploding fragments cohere into buildings, skyscrapers bend, and Manhattan's skyline folds in on itself in the preview of the Marvel film, an adaptation of a Steve Ditko comic about a doctor who masters the magical arts. 

"Doctor Strange" hits theaters Nov. 4. It co-stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams and Mads Mikkelsen, all appearing in the trailer below:
