FORT GREENE — Police are looking for a 300-pound man they say blasted two people with pepper spray at the Atlantic Avenue subway station.

The suspect got into an argument with a 45-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man while they were all inside an elevator at the station around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, the NYPD said.

Once they were off the elevator, the suspect followed the victims to the mezzanine area of the Pacific Street R stop and pepper sprayed them, according to police.

The victims suffered pain to their eyes as a result of the attack and were taken to Brooklyn Hospital in stable condition, police said.

It was unclear what sparked the argument.

Police described the suspect as weighing 300 pounds and said he was last seen wearing a black du-rag, a green and black T-shirt, a brown jacket, black jeans and black sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
