WOODSIDE — Police are looking for a suspect who hit a man with a baseball bat after an argument outside a Queens hardware store in March, according to the NYPD.

The suspect attacked the 43-year-old man around 4 p.m. on March 25 in front of Johnston Supply at 27-01 Brooklyn Queens Expressway, near St. Michael's Cemetery, after the two men got into a dispute, police said.

Video footage shows the suspect taking the baseball bat from the trunk of a car and running after the victim with it. He struck the man in the side of his body with the bat, then punched him in the face, police said.

The victim refused medical attention, according to police.

The store declined to comment.

Police described the suspect as between 20 and 25 years old, standing between 6 feet and 6-foot-2 and weighing 160 to 170 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
