MEATPACKING DISTRICT — A well-dressed Israeli man hit an Australian man over the head with a glass at the boutique nightclub Catch, police said.
The incident happened at the Meatpacking District club — where bottle service starts at $400 — at 21 Ninth Ave. about 2:28 a.m. on June 9.
The 31-year-old Israeli man was charged with felony assault with intent to cause physical injury with a weapon.
He was released at his arraignment without bail. He's due back in court Aug. 1.
His attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
