UPPER EAST SIDE — MetFridays are returning this month with extended museum hours for two days of themed events.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art will extend its hours until 9 p.m. on June 24 and July 22 to offer a host of events based on themes of "identity" and the "power of objects."

The series kicks off with a silent dance party and follows with performances, readings and discussions. The Cloisters will also be celebrating its own MetFridays for the first time this year.

Here's the schedule:

 "MetFridays: Pride," June 24

5 to 9 p.m.: "Love Heals!" Silent Dance Party with DJs Steve Travolta, Danny Krivit, Olivia Dope and DJ Rekha. Love Heals! is a provider of youth-focused sexual health and HIV/AIDS education in the city.

6:30 and 8 p.m.: The New York City Gay Men's Chorus performs.

6:45 and 8:15 p.m.: Poetry readings by Janani Balasubramanian of Dark Matter Poetry.

6:30 and 7:30 p.m.: "Flowers and Fragrance" discussion with perfumer Alexis Karl and educator Deborah Goldberg. The talk will explore how flowers and their scents are depicted in works of art.

7:15 p.m.: "Gender: Who We Are from the Inside Out," a panel discussion about gender, class, race, background and art.

 "MetFridays: Extreme Measures" July 22

A full schedule for this day isn't available yet but the theme is meant to explore the power of objects through gallery chats, art-making and music, according to the museum.

Flutist Jay Gandhi will be performing to celebrate the new exhibition "Divine Pleasures: Painting from India's Rajput Courts — the Kronos Collections."

Visitors can also drop in on drawing sessions featuring live models wearing garments that were inspired by the "Manus x Machina" exhibition.

The Met Cloisters at Fort Tryon Park, will celebrate its own MetFridays for the first time, with events lasting until 7:30 p.m. every Friday through Sept. 5.

There will be a French white wine tasting on June 24, a German white wine tasting on Aug. 26, and a jazz quartet performance and local honey tasting on July 29.

For a schedule of events, visit the Met's website. Adult admission is a suggested $25.
