A massive double rainbow appeared over New York City and the tri-state area Sunday night following a wave of storms that started earlier in the day.
The magnificent rainbow materialized over the city around 8 p.m., just as the sun started to peek out of the clouds.
Residents from Midtown to Bay Ridge took to Twitter and Instagram to share their wonder and amazement at the sight.
It was even spotted from as far away as the Jersey Shore and Long Island.
