Man Grazed by Bullet During Broad Daylight Shooting on Roosevelt Ave: NYPD

ELMHURST — Police are searching for a suspect who shot at a man on Roosevelt Avenue on Sunday afternoon, leaving him with graze wounds on his face.

Two men approached the 37-year-old victim as he stood in front of the Dunkin Donuts at 89-22 Roosevelt Ave. at around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, police said.

After engaging him in conversation, one of the men pulled a gun out from his waistband and fired at least one shot, then fled north on 89th Street, according to the NYPD.

The victim was grazed on his forehead and under his eye but refused medical attention, police said. 

Surveillance video from near the shooting captured the man police believe is the shooter.
