ELMHURST — A woman was choked by a man who robbed her inside her apartment Monday afternoon, police said.
The suspect entered the apartment building just before 4 p.m. and entered a 25-year-old woman's apartment without using force, according to the NYPD.
He placed both hands around her neck and mouth, then fled with an unknown amount of money, police said.
He's described as a 32-year-old man, and was last seen wearing jeans, a baseball hat and a grey shirt.
