BROOKLYN — Police have connected two robberies in Queens and Brooklyn earlier this year to a pair of similar break-ins in Crown Heights last fall, the police department said.

Authorities say a man broke the front window of a Cypress Hills deli located at 1203 Sutter Ave. in the early morning hours of Feb. 1 and removed a cash register and $1,000 in currency from the shop, the Green Apple Deli and Grill.

Less than a week later, he broke into a bodega at 126-09 Jamaica Ave. in Kew Gardens between 2 a.m. and 9:48 a.m. on Feb. 6, taking 20 cellphones and $5,000 in cash, police said.

Police believe the man is also responsible for similar break-in robberies at two Nostrand Avenue businesses in Crown Heights last fall. In November, the NYPD released video of the suspect breaking into one of those shops, Meme’s Healthy Nibbles at 707 Nostrand Ave. on Oct. 30. The other store connected to the robbery pattern, Apple Samsung Doc Guy at 591 Nostrand Ave., was broken into on Nov. 3.

On Monday, the police department released more images of the suspect, taken during the Sutter Avenue break-in. In the images, the man is seen wearing light-colored pants and a hoodie pulled over his head.

Anyone with information in regards to these incidents is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at (800) 577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, (888) 57-PISTA (74782).
