Love your Korean taco truck or falafel cart? Let the world know by nominating your favorite food vendor for the Oscars of New York City street eats, the Vendy Awards

Now in its 11th year, the event has become the city's biggest street food competition, as well as a massive food festival.

More than 2,000 people gathered on Governors Island to taste the finalists' fare and vote for a "people's choice" award last year.

But to get to the big day — this year on Sept. 17 — food trucks have to be nominated first. That's where you come in. To vote for the most delectable curbside snack purveyor, click here.

The Vendys have five categories, and choose five vendors as finalists for each award, so about 25 food trucks will be serving up their tasty bites at the event.

The Vendy Awards will announce finalists in early July, organizers said.

Food truck Snowday, known for its homey, ‘farm-to-truck’ fare, like maple grilled cheese sandwiches, took home the top prize, the Vendy Cup, at the 2015 food throwdown.

Tickets for the event are also now on sale.

A limited number of early bird tickets are available at $85 for general admission, $50 for kids and $135 for VIP. Once early bird tickets are sold out, general admission tickets will cost $100, $145 for VIP and $60 for kids 8-12; those under 8 are free.

The event also serves as a fundraiser for the Street Vendor Project, a nonprofit that advocates for vendors' rights.
