Man Stabbed Repeatedly in Bronx Fight, NYPD Says

BRONX — A man was stabbed multiple times in the back during a large fight in Belmont Monday evening, police and fire officials said.

The victim was stabbed near the intersection of Crotona Avenue and East 183rd Street around 5:30 p.m., an FDNY spokesman said.  

The man had been part of a large group of kids who were fighting, according to the NYPD.

The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, an FDNY spokesman said. 

His condition and age were not immediately known, police and fire officials said.

Police was continuing to investigate the stabbing as of Monday at 7:30 p.m.
