HUDSON YARDS — Applications are now open for 120 new affordable apartments at a Hudson Yards high rise, with rents starting at $913 per month for a studio.
One-bedrooms will go for $980 per month, two-bedrooms will go for $1,165 per month and three-bedrooms will go for $1,315 per month at 555 10th Ave., between West 40th and West 41st streets.
Studios will go to one-person households that earn between $32,640 and $38,100.
The 52-story building is offering the following units, with household size and earning requirements:
► 21 studio apartments are available to one-person households earning between $32,640 and $38,100 per year.
► 65 one-bedroom apartments are available to one-person households earning between $34,972 and $38,100; or two-person households earning between $34,971 and $43,500 per year.
► 29 two-bedroom apartments are available to two-person households earning between $41,349 and $43,500; three-person households earning between $41,349 and $48,960; or four-person households earning between $41,349 and $54,360 per year.
► Five three-bedroom apartments are available to three-person households earning between $46,938 and $48,960; four-person households earning between $46,937 and $54,360; five-person households earning between $46,937 and $58,740; and six-person households earning between $46,937 and $63,060 per year.
Extell Development Company topped off construction at the building back in September, 6sqft reported.
The high rise is a “premier mixed-use tower featuring ground-floor retail space, 598 residential apartments and approximately 93,000 square feet of community facility space at the base of the building,” Extell’s website said.
For additional fees, residents can enjoy access to a 24-hour gym, a bowling alley, outdoor and indoor pools, “outdoor landscaped areas,” a dog run, game and children’s lounges, club room, storage and dog care services, NYC Housing Connect's release said.
Gas for cooking is included in the monthly rent prices.
Preference for 50 percent of the units will go to residents of Manhattan Community Board 4, the release said.
Five percent of the units will be set aside for municipal employees; five percent for mobility-disabled applicants; and two percent for vision- or hearing-disabled applicants.
