BOERUM HILL — Police are looking for a man they say attempted to rob a Boerum Hill bank Wednesday afternoon.
The man walked into the Ponce de Leon Bank, at 169 Smith St., around 3:30 p.m. and told the teller, “This is a hold up, give me all your 100s,” according to the NYPD.
The teller refused and the suspect fled empty-handed.
It wasn’t clear if the man was armed.
Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect, who was last seen wearing a green camouflage rain jacket.
