SUNNYSIDE — A woman punched another straphanger aboard a 7 train in Queens on Friday, accusing the victim of staring at her before taking her phone and smashing it on the train platform, according to the NYPD.

The suspect accused the 48-year-old victim of looking at her as she argued with another rider on the train, and punched the victim in the face, police said.

When the injured woman tried to call 911, the suspect grabbed her cellphone and threw it onto the platform as the doors opened at the 46th Street station, shattering the screen, according to police.

She then fled the station.

The victim — who managed to snap a photo of the attacker on her phone — suffered redness and swelling in her face but declined medical attention, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
