WATCH: Time-Lapse Footage From the Front of the 7, C and J Trains

If your commute ever felt more like a ride on the Cyclone than a ride to work, these videos will only reinforce that feeling.

A YouTube user going by the name DjHammersTrains posted time lapse videos taken from the first car of the 7, C and J trains. In a post to Reddit, the straphanger says he's been recording these rides before the R62A and R62 subway cars from the 1980s disappear. The newer R188 trains do not allow a regular rider to see the view from the front of the train.

"The front window view is a disappearing classic feature of New York City that countless generations grew up experiencing," the DjHammers wrote.
