A Beer Costs $11 at Hillary Clinton's New York Primary Party

Supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton who want to celebrate with a pint of beer or a glass of wine at her primary night headquarters at the Sheraton in Midtown will be quickly reminded that this isn't their local dive bar.

Cocktails and wines, called "familiar brands" and "familiar wines" respectively, are priced at $14.

An "imported beer" will set you back $11 and a bottle of "domestic beer" will cost $10 — nearly the price of a six-pack at a bodega.

Even teetotalers aren't spared. Soft drinks are $7.50.

Meanwhile at Trump Tower, Donald Trump's campaign is pouring his own brand of champagne at his primary party, though it's unclear how much he's charging for it.

At a results watch party dominated by Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders fans at the KBH Bierhalle in Brooklyn, beer was selling for far more reasonable prices: $5 for 0.2 liters, $8 for a half-liter, and $15 for a liter.
