LOWER EAST SIDE — As "Game of Thrones" fanatics count down the days to the season six premiere, HBO on April 20 will host an exclusive, invite-only exhibition at the Angel Orensanz Foundation featuring elaborate artworks modeled after key scenes in the beloved fantasy series.

“Art the Throne” will showcase a handful of mixed-media interpretations of fan favorites such as the infamous red wedding, crafted into a 12-foot, blood-colored, glowing glass manuscript by Brooklyn-based art collective Pop Chart Lab in an effort to capture the horror of the grisly plot twist.

“I’d like people to walk away with this feeling like something bad happened here,” said designer Ashley Walker in a promotional video.

Other works include a giant, mirrored crown constructed by artist collective CYRCLE and a sprawling mural of Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen by street artist Tristan Eaton.

Unfortunately, hardcore fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the artsy tributes would be turned away unless they were lucky enough to get an exclusive invite from HBO to the private event — the invite list was created internally by HBO, said a spokeswoman, who was unable to share any information on who would be attending.

However, viewers can check out promotional videos of each work for a peek into the artistic process.

The arts campaign is aimed to drum up excitement for the show’s season six premiere on Sunday, April 24.
