RED HOOK — Sheath your sword and get out the putter.

Shipwrecked Miniature Golf, a family-friendly theatrical indoor course, is finally opening its doors at 621 Court St. this month, the owners announced Tuesday night.

"The Adventure Begins April 23rd," the website proclaims.

Founders Ryan Powers and Chris Schneider spent years searching for the right space before finding the second-floor warehouse near Red Hook's ball fields, they told DNAinfo New York last year.

The 18-hole course is designed to take mini golfers through an adventure-filled game with pirates and explorers at every turn, elaborate sets, lights and special effects. Both Schneider and Powers, who have worked together on the South Slope annual holiday sound and light show, have backgrounds in theater.

Shipwrecked will also feature arcade games, private rooms for parties and events, and a concession stand with drinks, snacks and merchandise.

According to the website, the introductory hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
