Man Robs Fulton Street Bank, Police Say

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A robber took off from a Fulton Street bank with around $280 after demanding money from a teller, police said.

The man entered the Amalgamated Bank at 1212 Fulton St. between Bedford Avenue and Arlington Place around 1:40 p.m. on Thursday, officials said.

He passed the worker a note demanding money, according to police, and fled with the cash, heading eastbound on Fulton.

Police describe the suspect as 6 feet tall and in his 50s, and he was last seen wearing a dark-colored coat, black pants, a black knit cap, and sunglasses.
