WOODSIDE — Three suspects robbed a 7-Eleven in Queens last week, jumping behind the counter and forcing a worker to open the register at gunpoint, according to the NYPD.

Police say one of the men entered the store on Northern Boulevard near Newtown Road around 4 a.m. and bought something, then left the shop and spoke to two other men who were waiting outside.

Those two men then entered the store with guns, according to police. One jumped over the counter and demanded the 24-year-old cashier open the register, and the group then fled with an unknown amount of cash.

The employee wasn't injured in the robbery, police said.

The man who first entered the store to make a purchase was wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt, while the two other armed men had on black-hooded sweatshirts, according to the NYPD.
