VIDEO: Man Opens Fire on Crowded Sidewalk, NYPD Says

THE BRONX — A gunman ran shooting down a crowded Claremont Village sidewalk Sunday afternoon, police said.

The suspect, who can be seen in surveillance footage released by police, had his gun out in front of him as he ran past 1657 Boston Road, near Siebury Place, about 12:30 p.m., NYPD officials said.

The shooter, who didn't hit anyone, fled the scene and hadn't been arrested as of Monday morning, police said.

He was last seen in a red hoodie, with blue jeans and black sneakers, police said.
