HELL’S KITCHEN — One of Hillary Clinton’s first stops after Super Tuesday will be the Javits Center, her campaign said.
On Wednesday, the Democratic presidential candidate will discuss her plan to raise wages and “break down the barriers that hold too many families back” at the convention center on West 34th Street.
Doors for the free event will open at 3:15 p.m., with the actual event expected to start around 5:15 p.m. Prospective attendees can RSVP on the candidate’s website.
The planned campaign stop will come a little more than two weeks after Clinton spoke about racial inequality at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in Harlem and met with the Rev. Al Sharpton and several other civil rights organization leaders.
Like her rivals Bernie Sanders and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, the former Secretary of State has numerous ties to New York City, including her campaign headquarters in Brooklyn Heights.
Prospective voters have until March 25 to register to vote in New York’s presidential primaries, which will take place April 19.
