MIDTOWN — The 7 train has resumed full service with residual delays after a rail condition shut down the line Wednesday afternoon, the MTA said.
At about 2:15 p.m., the line was completely shut down between 34th Street-Hudson Yards and Hunters Point Avenue in Queens. A shuttle bus was then set up to transport passengers between 34 St-Hudson Yards and Times Square-42nd St while subway service between Times Square and Flushing Main Street resumed to normal in both directions.
An MTA spokeswoman said crews were investigating the rail condition, but she could not confirm what caused the rail issue.
