EAST HARLEM — A man caught with 98 hand-rolled K2 joints kicked a police officer in the nose when he tried to arrest him, according to the NYPD.

Officers saw John Hinds, 32, hand another man one of the joints on 123rd Street and Lexington Avenue about 1 p.m. on February 17, police said.

When they realized the cigarette had synthetic marijuana they closed in to arrest Hinds but he flailed his arms and yelled, “I will f--k you up,” before kicking a police officer in the nose, according to the NYPD.

After they arrested Hinds, police said they found 98 joints on him.

Hinds has been charged with assault. He is being held on Riker’s Island on $2,500 bail and is due in court Tuesday, records show.

His attorney declined to comment on the case Monday morning.
