The Tenement Museum tells the stories of New York City’s early immigrants. Housed in a tenement building that has been home to an estimated 7,000 working class immigrants, you can tour the premises and meet the residents who originally lived there — played by costumed interpreters. Join 14-year-old Italian immigrant Victoria Confino, a resident in the building from 1916, as she shares her experiences and perspectives on adjusting to the hustle and bustle of life in her new city.

Discovery Times Square hosts several limited-run, educational and immersive exhibitions under the one roof. Currently showing is "Star Wars and the Power Of Costume," featuring 70 costumes from the various Star Wars films, including the latest, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," alongside "Body Worlds Pulse" and "Vikings," the largest display of Viking artifacts ever to visit North America.

Using Andy Warhol’s work as inspiration, children learn the skills of art printing, book binding and silk screen printing. In Sunday's workshop, part 1 in an ongoing series, kids create an art project using silk screen guided by master printer Roni Henning.

Following their exhibits on China and Japan and Ancient Greece, the Children’s Museum is continuing its Cultural Exhibition and Programming Series with an exploration of the world’s Muslim cultures. Explore ancient trade routes (on boat or camel) and trade fruit, fish, spice, ceramic, textiles, and rugs in a global marketplace. Study mosque architecture and emerging American Muslim artists who are using traditional forms in new ways.
