The Tenement Museum: Meet The Residents
Where? 103 Orchard St., Lower East Side
When? 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m.
How Much? $25 for adults, $20 for kids 6-17, free for kids under 6 
The Tenement Museum tells the stories of New York City’s early immigrants. Housed in a tenement building that has been home to an estimated 7,000 working class immigrants, you can tour the premises and meet the residents who originally lived there — played by costumed interpreters. Join 14-year-old Italian immigrant Victoria Confino, a resident in the building from 1916, as she shares her experiences and perspectives on adjusting to the hustle and bustle of life in her new city.

When? Sunday to Tuesday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m to 9 p.m.
How Much? Each of the three separate exhibitions costs $27.50 for adults and $20 for kids (4-12 yrs)
Discovery Times Square hosts several limited-run, educational and immersive exhibitions under the one roof. Currently showing is "Star Wars and the Power Of Costume," featuring 70 costumes from the various Star Wars films, including the latest, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," alongside "Body Worlds Pulse" and "Vikings," the largest display of Viking artifacts ever to visit North America.

How Much? $11 per person, free for kids under 12
James Paulius' Sky Village installation is the inspiration behind a series of art workshops in the Brooklyn Children's Museum new 2nd floor Studio. Ages 2-and-a-half and above. 

Sunday, Feb. 21
Art for the Book: Silk Screen
Where? The Morgan Library & Museum, 225 Madison Ave., Midtown
When? From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
How Much? $8 for adults; $2 for children. Recommended for children 8 and up. Order tickets here
Using Andy Warhol’s work as inspiration, children learn the skills of art printing, book binding and silk screen printing. In Sunday's workshop, part 1 in an ongoing series, kids create an art project using silk screen guided by master printer Roni Henning. 

Drop-in Family Work Shop / Book Binding
Where? Queens Museum, New York City Building, Flushing Meadows Corona Park
When? 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
How Much? $8 suggested admission for adults. Free for children 18 and under
Learn about bookbinding in this free workshop for children ages 5 to 12 and their adult companions. No fee or advance registration required. Stay for as long as you like.

Where? Children's Museum of Manhattan, The Tisch Building, 212 W. 83rd St., Upper West Side
When? Sunday & Tuesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
How Much? $12 for adults and children 12 months and older
Following their exhibits on China and Japan and Ancient Greece, the Children’s Museum is continuing its Cultural Exhibition and Programming Series with an exploration of the world’s Muslim cultures. Explore ancient trade routes (on boat or camel) and trade fruit, fish, spice, ceramic, textiles, and rugs in a global marketplace. Study mosque architecture and emerging American Muslim artists who are using traditional forms in new ways.
