CHELSEA — Nearly two months after Gov. Andrew Cuomo approved plans for Anthony Bourdain’s international food marketplace on Pier 57, the celebrity chef has revealed a list of foods he hopes the market will serve.

In a post on the List App, Bourdain named 10 dishes from vendors in Singapore, Hong Kong, Mexico and elsewhere that he said market patrons “need and deserve,” Eater reported.

“Dishes from my travels that I want, badly, for my eventual market in NYC,” Bourdain wrote.

Along with beef brisket and shrimp wonton noodle soup from a Hong Kong noodle shop, Bourdain posted photos of a cod and octopus ceviche tostada from a Mexican eatery, a white pepper crab dish from Singapore and an array of dim sum offerings from a Michelin-starred restaurant in Hong Kong.

The chef’s market, currently called “Bourdain Market,” is expected to open on Pier 57’s main concourse and mezzanine in 2017.

Bourdain originally posted photos from the list on his market's official Instagram account, which invites New Yorkers and others to post their own dream foods and vendors for the market using the hashtag #BourdainMarket.

The market also posted several artistic renderings of the planned space on its Instagram page, Eater reported.

In September, Bourdain told the New York Times he envisioned it as an “Asian night market” with “[e]ating and drinking at midnight.”

More than 100 vendors — including local vendors — will serve food at Bourdain Market when it opens, according to Eater.
