CLINTON HILL — A Myrtle Avenue sidewalk will be closed through the summer due to construction.

The walkway between 490 and 504 Myrtle Ave., which runs alongside the Key Food supermarket, will be closed for four months, according to the Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership.

Residents trying to get onto Myrtle Avenue from the south can walk one block west to Hall Street or walk east and get on Myrtle Avenue from the west side of the Blick Art Supply store at Grand Avenue.

The sidewalk will reopen after major construction activities are completed, the Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership said on its blog.

The sidewalk is closing as construction continues at 504 Myrtle Ave., the location of the former Pratt Station Post Office. The site is being redeveloped into an 8-story residential and commercial building
